Since 1971, Knoxville Classical Guitar has presented internationally recognized artists while creating opportunities for students of all ages. We believe music is more than entertainment. It builds community, inspires creativity, and changes lives. Everything we do is centered around connecting people through the beauty of the classical guitar.

This season, Knoxville Classical Guitar proudly presents five internationally acclaimed artists, two beloved community concerts, and an exceptional Artist Circle Series. Alongside intimate performances by internationally recognized musicians, we'll celebrate the release of a new album via concert presentation and welcome the captivating collaboration of acclaimed fingerstyle guitarists and songwriters. This season is one of our strongest yet.

We'll welcome internationally acclaimed performers from around the world, continue our educational programs, and create opportunities for audiences to experience music in both concert halls and intimate settings.

This fall, our concert season showcases three exceptional artists, each bringing a unique voice to the classical guitar. From flamenco influences to award-winning artistry, every performance offers something different while celebrating the instrument at the highest level.

Gladius is known for blending classical virtuosity with the passion and energy of flamenco. His performances are dynamic, exciting, and unforgettable. We're thrilled to welcome him to open our season.

Leonela Alejandro is one of today's most exciting young guitarists, recognized internationally after winning the 2024 Guitar Foundation of America Rose Augustine Grand Prize. Her artistry represents the next generation of classical guitar performance.

Hao Yang has earned international recognition for her expressive performances, remarkable technique, and poetic musicianship. Her concert promises an evening of artistry and elegance.

The spring season continues with two internationally celebrated performers who have captivated audiences throughout Europe and North America.

Winner of the 2025 Guitar Foundation of America Rose Augustine Grand Prize, Virgil Barth has quickly become one of the most exciting young performers on the international stage. We're honored to present him in Knoxville.

Gaëlle Solal is admired worldwide for her creativity, charisma, and musical storytelling. Her performances connect deeply with audiences and represent the very best of today's classical guitar scene.

Community is at the heart of Knoxville Classical Guitar. Alongside our featured artists, we gather throughout the year to celebrate music together with a holiday concert and an end-of-year concert and potluck. These concerts bring together performers, students, families, and supporters in a welcoming environment.

This year we have additional concerts in our Artist Circle Series. The concerts are closer, smaller, and more personal.

One of the most unique parts of our season is the Artist Circle Series. These intimate concerts allow audiences to experience music in a completely different way—close enough to interact with the artists, ask questions, and experience performances in an informal setting.

Experience an evening where contemporary songwriting meets masterful fingerstyle guitar. Jess Kerber and Will Orchard create music that is honest, intimate, and beautifully crafted, blending expressive guitar work with unforgettable storytelling.

Celebrate the release of Andy LeGrand's newest recording in an intimate Artist Circle performance. Hear the stories behind the music of his upcoming album, Ecliptic. Experience the new works live and join in an evening celebrating creativity, composition, and the classical guitar.

Internationally acclaimed guitarist and composer Laura Snowden brings artistry, imagination, and expressive performance to the Artist Circle Series. Experience her music in a setting where every note and every conversation feels personal.

Goran Ivanovic is celebrated for seamlessly blending classical tradition with Balkan folk influences and jazz improvisation. An evening of extraordinary musicianship, rich storytelling, and musical exploration awaits.

The Knoxville Classical Guitar Concert Circle offers the experience of every major concert and supports the organization ongoing. For $25 per month, Concert Circle members enjoy reserved admission to all five major concerts while supporting Knoxville Classical Guitar's mission. Knoxville Classical Guitar's Artist Circle offers music beyond the concert halls. For $35 per month, Artist Circle members enjoy a uniquely personal connection with the artists they support. Experience intimate performances, special musical gatherings, workshops, masterclasses, and opportunities to share conversation and meals with visiting artists, where unforgettable music becomes unforgettable friendships.

Knoxville Classical Guitar's Patron Circle contributes to shaping the future of classical and fingerstyle guitar in our region. For $50 per month, Patron Circle members provide leadership support that helps Knoxville Classical Guitar expand its artistic and educational mission. In appreciation, patrons receive four transferable access tickets, premium seating, invitations to special receptions, exclusive opportunities to engage with our visiting artists, and recognition in our programs.
